5. To deny, stop, or reject any Fard (obligatory) duty of the Sharia (Divine Law) i.e. Salaah, Zakaah, Saum, Hajj, Kindness to parents, or Jihad. [Qur'aan 4:50, 64-65, 80] or to turn away from the religion by not learning or practicing it's precepts. [Qur'aan 32:22]

If anyone call Islamic law outdated, he or she is challenging Allah, the one who knows the past, present and the future. Allah is our creator, he knows what is best for us, Allah tells us in the Qur'an that he has made the attractions of this world, in order to test us.

The comfort we enjoy today is because of the mercy of Allah, however instead of thanking Allah, because of our money and status, we start to challenge Allah, while appreciating Scientific inventions. Allah is the one who has given all of this to us, if our brain does not function in a correct manner, then we will not be able to eat properly, never mind about what Science has discovered! Every Scientist is a human being who was created by Allah, and it is Allah who sends the signals to the brain of that Scientist, in order to test us from there discoveries. As long as we pay our bills, then we are able to enjoy our comfort, and if we do not pay our bills, then they do not need us, we live only by the mercy of Allah, all of our actions, comfort, and status is only from Allah. If anyone says his laws are outdated, and disobey any of His commands (Salaah, Zakaah, Saum, Hajj, Kindness to parents, or Jihad), then how can one call himself a Muslim.

Whoever does not follow the laws of the Shariah, or does not practice, then that is committing Kufr (disbelief).
