ATTENTION READERS: Testify to yourself through the verse in the Qur'an, to realize where we fit. We have to make sure that this also could apply to us, do not just be under the impression that it applies to the hypocrites only. Each verse in the Holy Qur'an is a guidance for all of mankind, and especially for Muslims to keep checking themselves, if they categorize as one of those who earn Allah's anger. The laws of the Qur'an are an instrument which purifies the soul, and it is important to keep using this instrument regularly in one's daily routines. In order for us to make sure we testify and question ourselves, in order for us to stop ourselves from hell, do we categorize with those whom Allah makes reference to within the verses in the Qur'an? The laws of the Qur'an is not a culture, and not a story book, it is a guidance to the soul in order for us to apply it, and live trouble free and successfully here and in the hereafter. "Make not mischief on the earth," they say: "We are only peacemakers." Never mind about the non-believers (kaafirs), we should ask how do Muslims today fit in to this verse (ayah)? Leaving behind the laws of Allah and the examples of the Prophet Muhammed (S.A.W). Today if we go to any Muslim country, and want to teach English, you will earn at least 500 times more than what the teacher of the Qur'an earns. Or if you were to ask anyone, are you planning to make your son or daughter in to an Alim or an Alima? Right away they will turn red with anger, and would say what are you talking about, my son or daughter will study in a university. And that person would think, that you are degrading his status, and insulting him. This attitude could be found commonly within Muslim families, and this is just one of the examples! Another example would be, because most people are reading the Holy Qur'an in Arabic only, and do not understand it. Most of them would are argue and fight with each other in matters related to Islam, but if you were to ask them how much Qur'an or Hadeeth (Prophetic statements) do you know and apply it in your life? Or if anyone were to say anything about Islam, they would be ready to go and kill him, because of lack knowledge and explanation, and preaching of Islam. Or because of lack of knowledge, people are seeking intercession after so called "pious" people, because a person is lazy, he is not performing wudu, praying five times a day, and is not leaving prohibited things, and comprising his lifestyle with the non-believers (kaafirs). The Christians, for example, also seek intercession through Jesus (Isa) and Mary (Maryam), or the Jews also try and bring the status of Uzair (Ezra), David (Dawud) and Moses (Musa) equal to Allah. So one may ask what is the difference between those who go to there so called pious people for intercession, and the non-believers (kaafirs), Jews, Christians, Hindus etc. If one is really looking for guidance from the Qur'an, and with straight path, and to benefit in the hereafter then, make sure read each verse, and take your time, while checking yourself, if the people mentioned in the verse, are we one of them, considering our actions today's lifestyle? |
