And who believe in (the Qur'ān and the Sunnah) [] which has been sent down (revealed) to you (Muhammad Peace be upon him ) and in [the Taurāt (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), etc.] which were sent down before you and they believe with certainty in the Hereafter. (Resurrection, recompense of their good and bad deeds, Paradise and Hell, etc.). (2:4)

If we call ourselves Muslim then we have to bring the Qur'an in our lifestyles in order to apply this verse, to confirm that yes we do believe what has been revealed to the Prophet . It is not enough to read it only, and not apply it in our lifestyles or otherwise there is no difference between us and the non-believers. The Qur'an is a complete book and it represents all of the important things that happened to different nations, and the coming of different Prophets before the Prophet Muhammed. So whosoever applies the Qur'an in their lifestyles, then that means that he or she is a believer, and a Muslim. And he or she would believe also in the after life, and in the day of judgment.

Reading the Qur'an is not enough, in order to certify ourselves that we are believers, and Muslims.

  1. READ THE QUR'AN WITH TARTEEL, TAJWEED, AND TRY YOUR BEST TO READ IT ACCURATELY IN ARABIC.
  2. UNDERSTANDING THE QUR'AN IN YOUR OWN RESPECTED LANGUAGES
  3. APPLYING IT IN YOUR LIFESTYLE AND REALIZING IT'S BENEFITS
  4. AND TELLING OTHERS, THIS INCLUDED NON-PRACTICING MUSLIMS, AND NON-BELIEVERS.

Whosoever does not do the following four actions this means then he or she is not fulfilling the obligatory manners of the Qur'an.

The Qur'an is a law book from Allah and whosoever does not understand it, apply it, and pass it to others then he or she has no right to call themselves believers. We spend our time towards worldly knowledge which will become useless here and in the hereafter.

How is it useless here?

Satan shows us all the attractions in the world in order to make sure we earn enough money to buy houses, raise our children, and become like providers to them. And he always shows us that if we do this or that course, and if we do not have enough energy to continue our education, then we worry about our children. However death can approach us any second in our life, and all of our hard work will become useless, which was wasted during our lifetimes. Allah can ask us how we spent 15-20 years in the worldly education, and we did not have 15 minutes to understand a verse (ayah) from the Qur'an.
