And when they meet those who believe, they say: "We believe," but when they are alone with their Shayâtin (devils - polytheists, hypocrites, etc.), they say: "Truly, we are with you; verily, we were but mocking." (2:14)

It's those people who practice part time, and pray once in a while, such as praying 2 or 3 times a day,  praying only juma, or just eid prayers, and leave their practice of Islam for their jobs, or for any other small excuse. However they show themselves, when they are with practicing Muslims that they practice as well. Some people when they meet their bosses, or some of their corrupted Muslim friends, they start calling themselves modern, and leave their practice right away. They act the way they want to act with them, and show themselves that they are one of them. If someone asks them, how is their practice of Islam, they reply that they practice sometimes, and think of it like a joke.  Islam cannot be practiced part-time, or as a so called casual Muslim, who just practice if they are in a good mood, or have some time. Once in a while when they practice they think they have done a great job, and because of their efforts, Allah will gain a lot, and they think they have done a big favor for him. They do not realize that they are losing themselves.  Allah is the all-knower of everything, and he will treat us according to our actions.  If today's practicing of Islam is a joke, the hereafter will become the biggest painful joke, and the treatment will be the lowest place in hell, which is made for the hypocrites. They will be treated worse then the non-believers (kaafirs).

May Allah help us and make us straight, and make us take his orders seriously, because our time is running out, and we are going towards death, and after that, there will be no way to come back to this world again, after realizing death, then that will be too late.

Note: However the doors of repentance are never closed until death, and we should cry and beg to Allah in order to open our eyes and hearing so we can understand the orders of our creator, sustainer, and our provider, we should always remember that Allah's mercy is more stronger then his punishments, if one tries to seek it within his lifetime, inshallah.
