A LADY'S GUIDE TO CONDITIONS OF PURIFICATION

They ask you concerning menstruation. Say: that is an Adha (a harmful thing for a husband to have a sexual intercourse with his wife while she is having her menses), therefore keep away from women during menses and go not unto them till they have purified (from menses and have taken a bath). And when they have purified themselves, then go in unto them as Allâh has ordained for you (go in unto them in any manner as long as it is in their vagina). Truly, Allâh loves those who turn unto Him in repentance and loves those who purify themselves (by taking a bath and cleaning and washing thoroughly their private parts, bodies, for their prayers, etc.). (2:222)

Islam covers the smallest details, for verily Allah does not leave any confusions for any person's requirements.

As we know, this is the natural system for a lady to get cleansing of herself on a monthly basis. Because there is a mixture of blood over there, in those conditions a lady is prohibited from offering the daily prayers. The prayers she misses during that time period are forgiven, for verily Allah is the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. However, the fasting that is missed due to this reason, then she must make up for the fasts she missed.

If for any other reason blood is present, such as an infection, or any other related reason, then she has to make sure that it is an infection, in order for her not to miss her prayers.

During that time period, a husband is not allowed to approach his wife. However, it is permissible for the husband to hug, kiss, except for intercourse.

A lady during this time period, is allowed to perform any of her daily tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and other daily routines. However, in Judaism, during this time period, a lady will be treated as impure, and they cannot have any relationship, up to the extent, that they are not allowed to eat together.

When they are purified, and blood flow ceases, then they are purified, even without a bath, allowing a man to approach his wife. In those conditions of someone traveling, where no water is available, and this time were to come. Then this where tayamum is allowed, which is purification using earth. Otherwise, after the blood is ceased, then they must take a complete Islamic way of ghusul. Until she is not purified, similar to the condition of Janabah (sexual impurity), then it is haram to have intercourse.

"And when they have purified themselves, then go in unto them as Allâh has ordained for you (go in unto them in any manner as long as it is in their vagina)."

The part where it is allowed to enter, in order for the system not to be disturbed, because everything has a reason. As we know, the baby germs are delivered through that specific passage. Allah, the All-Mighty, has ordained that system, for verily nothing has been ordained without a reason, and no one is allowed to break the laws set by Allah, the All-Mighty, upon us. It is prohibited for the husband to enter through any other passage, for verily a lady is not the property of a man, she has her own right, dignity, and status, granted to her by Islam.

"Truly, Allâh loves those who turn unto Him in repentance and loves those who purify themselves (by taking a bath and cleaning and washing thoroughly their private parts, bodies, for their prayers, etc.)"

Allah, the Most-Merciful and Beneficient, loves those who do not take The-Most Merciful's mercy for granted.

Verily, We created man of the best stature (mould), (95:4)

Verily, Allah has made mankind the highest amongst all creatures. Whomever is not obedient and adherent to these matters, in regards to purification, and seeking repentance from Allah.

Today people take their wife as granted, and treat her like dirt, due to the fact, that they learn from those who are the enemies of Allah and His Prophet. It is Islam who has granted a lady her own status and dignity, when her natural system is present, she does not treat it like a left over. Naturally, any other part, such as the hands, brain, and eyes, are not effected, and they do not do require purification, except, worship to Allah, the All-Mighty.

As we know our bodies are based upon chemistry, and if during that time intercourse takes place, then it is possible that it would effect the baby, or many other reasons, due to the fact that it is not a pure situation, leaving room for Satan.

Regardless, if we are in the condition of any action we are required to seek refuge from Satan by saying:

I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan

For verily, we require the forgiveness of the Most-Merciful and Beneficent, for Allah, the Most-Merciful, loves those who seek his forgiveness, and do not take his mercy for granted, in a manner similar to that of a non-believer, for Allah is the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Then We reduced him to the lowest of the low, (95:5)

As we can see in today's lifestyle, those who seek modernity, and want to stay away from the laws ordained in the Holy Quran, living in a manner of the ignorant, breaking the laws ordained by Allah, day and night. Those who do so, are shy to ask questions, while in the same time, they are willing to learn all of the details in matters related to this world, from small to big.

Allah, the Lord, mentions in the above ayah, for those who we know as ignorant and "modern", who do not have enough time to open the best of all guidance, the Holy Quran, regardless of the consequences they know they will face on the Day of Judgment. Today, there are many Muslims who glad to send their daughters to study medical, however in the same time they are shy to teach their daughters the laws of the Quran, in order to save their generations from the fire of hell.

(He has made it) Straight to give warning (to the disbelievers) of a severe punishment from Him, and to give glad tidings to the believers (in the Oneness of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism), who work righteous deeds, that they shall have a fair reward (i.e. Paradise). (18:2)
