Why am I so unlucky? The reason why we are unlucky is because of our greed and overspending. Satan gives never ending attractions in this world, just like a person who has a one bedroom apartment, but dreams for a bigger apartment, or even a house. 

Satan puts all of the ideas in our minds, that we do not have this and that. And always we are running short of money, because of our over spending on things we really do not need, because we only worry about our friends or relatives, and what will they think about us. And the most worst thing that makes us feel even more unlucky is to look at individuals who have a higher status than we do, and that creates a complex in our minds, regardless how individuals with a higher status earned there money, whether lawful or unlawful, but Satan shows us that we are so unlucky, that whatever we try in our life, it always goes wrong, and we cannot earn enough money to fulfill our needs, but our needs will never be completed, until the day we reach our grave. 

One example to consider, is sometimes young people start to think about marrying someone, or start to like someone, but if that person from the other side does not like them, then they get depression, and start to complain, and come in a complex, and start to think that they are ugly, and something is wrong with them, and they be unthankful to Allah, they always only think negative, the way an individual thinks, that happens. 

Or another example is at the work place, an individual who does not work hard, and is lazy, and does not try and learn the job, and whatever his boss wants him to do, he does not do it in a suitable manner. 

There are some who do not eat in a proper manner according to the sunnah, or something which harms there bodies, but they still love to eat those type of things, and then they call themselves unlucky, when they get sick or fat as a result, and lose there figure.

Or an individual who is not friendly with others, and he or she always complains that people dislike him, and feels like a leftover.  

Or if they are trying and copying non-believers, or non practicing Muslims, naturally those people are influenced by Satan, and they would show that you are lower class person, and you cannot afford things, what they can, and they make you feel like a leftover from society, although you try and mix with them, they are the followers of Satan, and they desire to put you down.

That is so because Allâh will never change a grace which He has bestowed on a people until they change what is in their ownselves. And verily, Allâh is All-Hearer, All-Knower. (8:53)

For each (person), there are angels in succession, before and behind him.^[] They guard him by the Command of Allâh. Verily! Allâh will not change the good condition of a people as long as they do not change their state of goodness themselves (by committing sins and by being ungrateful and disobedient to Allâh). But when Allâh wills a people's punishment, there can be no turning back of it, and they will find besides Him no protector. (13:11)

Yes there is a solution for everything, whatever is mentioned above or more than that. A solution for all problems is to not follow the path of Satan, which will make you feel poor, leftover, and an individual with a low status in society. 

When we wake up anytime, in the middle of the night, or early morning, our day should start with prayers (dua') that the Prophet read. Instead of thinking and worrying about matters related to this world, which you are trying to solve on your own, and with Satan, who shows all of the doors to opportunities closed. And he enjoys our depression, and he knows that we are depressed, and he wants us to be more unthankful to Allah, so we suffer here and in the hereafter.

[Mûsa (Moses)] said: "O my Lord! Open for me my chest (grant me self-confidence, contentment, and boldness).
"And ease my task for me;

Make sure you commit and train your soul, that inshallah, you will never be unthankful to Allah. And remind yourself, that if you lose an eye, you would thank Allah for the other one. Or if you lose a hand, you would thank Allah for the other, ect. So why not thank Allah when we are complete, and the bounties Allah has blessed us with? such as, your health, wealth, and if you are married, your husband or wife, and your children, and look at people with a lower status then yours, and always fear Allah, that he has the power to take back anything anytime, it does not matter how poor you may think you are, but you are still better than hundreds and thousands of people, who are suffering more than you are. And maybe Allah will take back things you already have, because Allah dislikes people who are unthankful. It does not matter how rich you are, and if you are thankful, your wealth will keep multiplying, inshallah, if you always thank Allah, give charity, and think of less fortunate then you are, and help them, inshallah. Then you will feel like the most luckiest person, and always remembering and thanking Allah from the morning, in any small matter. Remember, that when we give a glass of water to another person, or even a pencil, we always thank each other, did we ever realize that the one who has given us everything, did we ever thank Him? see how we are in the hands of Satan, why compare with others, when our financial situation is not good, and we become unthankful to Allah.

"My Lord! Inspire and bestow upon me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favors which You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds that will please You, and admit me by Your Mercy among Your righteous slaves.(27:19)

The only solution is to learn the prayers (dua'), as our beloved Prophet read from morning to night. So inshallah, Satan does not come close to us, when we are connected with Allah all day, by reading prayers (dua'). And we will be under the protection of the sheild from Allah, from any evil eye, or any attack from Satan, on our status, wealth, health, and our happiness. We should make sure we stay in wudu (ablution) all day, so Satan doe snot make us lazy to read our prayers (dua') and our daily prayers. Which will save us from all types of difficulties in our life.

This is the only solution for mankind, to stay in the protection of his Creator, Allah.

And your Lord said: "Invoke Me, [i.e. believe in My Oneness (Islâmic Monotheism)] (and ask Me for anything) I will respond to your (invocation). Verily! Those who scorn My worship [i.e. do not invoke Me, and do not believe in My Oneness, (Islâmic Monotheism)] they will surely enter Hell in humiliation!"(40:60)

And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad SAW) concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My Knowledge). I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor). So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright.
