The Qur'an teaches us to how to live in the best manner in this world. It is a law book, and a code of life. One can find many laws regarding different matters, such as, family matters, business, morals, equality, modesty, scientific discoveries, and learning about any single matter, which apply to our life here and in the hereafter. The Qur'an teaches us about our Provider, Allah. To understand him, his controls, and powers, and many more... A Muslim can be found in any race, color in any part of the world. With different languages, cultures, and traditional customs. The original Qur'an came in Arabic, but one can find translations in many languages. However every language has different vocabulary and dialect. So to read the translation is essential but not enough, unless one applies it in life, to see its benefits of laws found in the Qur'an. It is just like if one buys a car, but does not ride it, how can one then say what kind of comfort, and options does the car actually offer. Unless you already have drove it, and it was proved to you that it is excellent. Or if you are a sales person, and do not have knowledge of your product, then how can you explain the options of the product you are trying to sell, as a result unable to close the sale with success. The same thing is if anyone regardless of religion, wants to see the miracles of the Qur'an then should read it with fear of Allah, and see its details, and look at benefits, one would be amazed. To understand the Qur'an is very important, it came in a time of period to 23 years to the Prophet Muhammed (SAW), who himself as an individual was illiterate. But because of learning through the Qur'an through Gabriel, one can see the noble character of the Prophet Muhammed, his family, and his companions, and practicing Muslims. Allah has the power to do whatever he thinks, if he commands to happen, then it happens. One may ask why was it not transferred to the Prophet Muhammed, through Gabriel, in one shot, instead of 23 years? The reason behind this is because, when the Prophet Muhammed received a few verses, he use to convey it to his companions, then they would learn and apply it in there life, until another revelation will come. And that is the reason why it came gradually, for us to be shown how it is applied, and it's benefits, step by step. The Qur'an has certain rules and regulations.
Every soul is under a test, with the guidance of the Qur'an. Whoever applies receives benefits, regardless of status, wealth, or background. An advice, is to instead of reading the entire Qur'an without understanding, everyday one should read a few verses, which could be understood, and to apply it in our lifestyle to get it's benefits. The Qur'an is not for the dead, however it is a living example to mankind. If one's language is not English, and you ask him to follow the way of life in English, and he does not have any clue about English, then that individual will never be guided, although he may know how to read, but he does not understand. |
